-- "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit."
God is where everything comes from and He gives Life to all things.
He Plants - He Prunes - He waters - He Gives all to The Vine (Jesus). The Vine (Jesus) absolutley depends on the Husband (God). |
-- "And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father,
keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are."
They exist one for the other and to know about Jesus study the Vine. |
-- "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
The Vine holds – Coils around – strength rearing up – gives life to the Branches (Church). The Vine Supplies all – giving Life to each Branch as the Father – Planter gives Life. It draws from the Husbandman (The Planter) and gives to the Branches (Church). |
-- "For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?"
God planted the Vine and grafted in the Branches. |
-- "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
The Branches have nothing and are nothing except what the Vine provides. A Branch living in a Vine is of the same nature; it’s in the same place doing the same work. And it has the same life. There is perfect unity. And they are alike in every way except one. |
-- "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst."
One the Vine is strong the source strength (Spirit). While the other the Branch is little and feeble forever needing and receiving strength. |
